How many mobile SIMs are running on your ID like Aadhaar, PAN or Voter ID, it can now be easily tracked. To save people from fraud, the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) has recently launched a portal, through which you will be able to find out how many mobile numbers are registered on your ID.
The name of this portal of Department of Telecommunication (DoT) is Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP). It is currently being run on an experimental basis in some states.
TAFCOP has written on its website, ‘This website is for the help of people. Through this, people will be able to find out how many mobile connections are running on their ID. And then you will be able to take action accordingly.
First of all go to TAFCOP portal https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in/. Such a page will open in front of you, where, you will have to enter your mobile number.
After that you tap or click on Request OTP button. After this an OTP will come on your number. After entering the OTP, all the mobile numbers which are running from your ID will be shown.
Click or tap the check box for a number you don’t use and tap This is not my. If the number is not required, click on Not required. If you have all the numbers with you then you don’t need to do anything.
